Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. LaCap completed her Aesthetic Advantage Certification at New York University. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She then completed a residency at Englewood Hospital.
Over the years, Dr. LaCap has pursued advanced training in a wide variety of different specialties, including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, Full-Face Orthodontics, Invisalign™, endodontics, gum disease, patient management, and restorative care.
What Dental Memberships & Accolades Do You Have?
Dr. LaCap has received several prestigious awards over the course of her career, including the Excellence in Orthodontic Award from the American Association of Orthodontics, the Excellence in Periodontics Award from the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the Appreciation Award from The Filipino Reporter newspaper, and an Award of Distinction from the CM Easter Seaboard USA. Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. LaCap is married to Dr. Tong, and they have five wonderful children together. In fact, they first met in dental school at Columbia University, where they were anatomy lab partners! When she isn’t busy at the practice, her hobbies include cheering on her sons at their soccer and baseball games (she hasn’t missed one yet!), skiing down big slopes, and boating on the Hudson River.

Dr. Tong is the proud recipient of several prestigious dental awards, including the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award from the Operative Department at Columbia University, the Excellence in Prosthetics Award from the Teledyne Hanau Corporation, and the Appreciation Award from The Filipino Reporter newspaper. He is also a regular lecturer at schools, teaching young children about the importance of establishing good dental habits.

Dr. Tong is happily married to Dr. LaCap, and they have five children together. In his free time, he enjoys watching his child play sports like soccer and baseball, skiing, and boating on the Hudson River with his family.
